Robonaut2
Robonaut2 was the first humanoid robot to be launched into space. It was developed by the NASA Johnson Space Center and launched in 2011, tested about the International Space Station, and returned to Earth for study in 2018. Robonaut2 was built to test applications of humanoid robots to augment crewed space missions.
