=== Onboarding === * Watch out for an email from Gusto (We've moved our HR software), with an official offer letter and instructions on how onboarding checklist to onboard you into our system.* Once you accept, Ben will add you to the system, after which you will have to enter your bank account information in order to be paid.* Gusto will send you an email the day before your expected start date with additional on-boarding tasks. If you are waiting on an email which you haven't received yet, odds are it is just not needed yet === Pre-Internship Checklist === * Create a wiki account and mark yourself as an employee (you can use [[Userhttps:Ben]] as a template). You'll use your account as the main way to keep track of what you've done over the course of the internship//wiki.* Contribute an article about something you find interestingkscale. See the [[Contributing]dev/w/Intern_Onboarding internal wiki] guide.* For your first day, you will need documents for your I9 authorizing you Please reach out to work with us. The easiest is Ben to just bring your passport or passport card. Alternatively, you'll need your driver's license or a federal photo ID, AND your social security card or birth certificate. === What To Bring === * Bring living things (clothing, toothbrush, etc.)* We will have beds, bedsheets, towels, toothpaste, and shampoo for you. Other miscellaneous toiletries will also be taken care of. === Arrival === * We have a company standup every day at 8:45 AM.* Arrive anytime prior to your start date. If you want to come early that is fine as well. === Expenses === * For travel expenses, please purchase your own flight and keep get your receipts so that we can reimburse you latercredentials.
