Congratulations on your internship at K-Scale Labs! We are excited for you to join us.

Onboarding

  • Watch out for an email from Gusto (our HR software), with an official offer letter and instructions on how to onboard you into our system.
  • Once you accept, Ben will add you to the system, after which you will have to enter your bank account information in order to be paid.

Pre-Internship Checklist

  • Create a wiki account and mark yourself as an employee (you can use User:Ben as a template). You'll use your account as the main way to keep track of what you've done over the course of the internship.
  • Contribute an article about something you find interesting. See the Contributing guide.

What To Bring

  • Bring living things (cloting, toothbrush, eyc.)
  • For your first day, you will need documents for your I9 authorizing you to work with us. The easiest is to just bring your passport or passport card. Alternatively, you'll need your driver's license or a federal photo ID, AND your social security card or birth certificate.

Additional Notes

  • For travel expenses, please purchase your own flight and keep your receipts so that we can reimburse you later.
