Specifications[edit]
Eve is designed with a single leg and a set of wheels, and grippers for the hands. It has a total of 25 degrees of freedom (DOF): 1 in the neck, 7 in each arm, 6 in the leg, and 1 in each hand and the wheels. It is made mostly out of plastic, aluminum, and fabric. It stands at 183cm tall (the same height as the founder and CEO Bernt Øivind Børnich), weighs 83lbs, and moves at a top speed of 14.4km/h.
The computer runs on an Intel i7 CPU for real-time processing and Nvidia Xavier for AI computations. It uses a custom Linux-based operating system, Java, C++, Python, and many open-source packages.
Eve has 4 hours of operating time on a 1.05-kWh lithium-ion battery pack.[1]
