Isaac Sim is a simulator from NVIDIA connect with the Omniverse platform. The core physics engine underlying Isaac Sim is PhysX
Doing Simple Operations[edit]
Start Isaac Sim
- Open Omniverse Launcher
- Navigate to the Library
- Under “Apps” click “Isaac Sim”
- Click “Launch”
- There are multiple options for launching. Choose the normal one to show the GUI or headless if streaming.
 
- Choose File > Open...and select the.usdmodel corresponding to the robot you want to simulate.
Connecting streaming client
- Start Isaac Sim in Headless (Native) mode
- Open Omniverse Streaming Client
- Connect to the server
